Timothy Kennedy

Timothy “Tim” Kennedy, 66, of Lafayette, passed away Tuesday April 27, 2021 in his home. He was born October 6, 1954 to the late Charles Kennedy and Catherine Kennedy (Scheetz). Tim graduated in 1973 from Lafayette Central Catholic High School. For 37 years, from the time of his graduation until his retirement, Tim worked at Lafayette’s General Telephone/Verizon. Tim enjoyed traveling especially with one of our Nation Parks as a destination site. Plus, for 23 years he made an annual trip to the NCAA Women’s Final Four games. He is preceded in death by his parents and older sister, Carolyn “Kay” Siemers (David). Surviving is his sister Kathleen (Kathy) of Monticello, IN; brothers Mike and Dick of the Buck Creek, IN area; Bob (Roberta) of Battle Ground, IN; Tom (Kim Hicks) (Tim’s twin), John and Steve of rural Lafayette. Also surviving are eight nephews, three nieces, ten great nephews and six great nieces. Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 207 N. Washington St., Delphi from 10:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM Tuesday May 4, Fr. Alejandro M. Paternoster officiating. Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lafayette following the Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice or in the form of Masses at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
