Robert Bennett

Robert Lloyd Bennett, 72 of Chiloquin, OR. and formerly of the Lafayette area, passed away unexpectedly at Franciscan St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette 9:18 AM Thursday August 5, 2021 while vacationing and visiting family. He was born in Lafayette, IN March 11, 1949, the son of the late Robert W. and Eileen (Rayman) Bennett. Robert was a graduate of Benton Central High School, Ivy Tech in Lafayette and ITT in Indianapolis. His marriage was to Charlee Jean Kilgore at West Covina, CA July 31, 1976 and she survives. Robert and Charlee owned and operated Chiloquin Towing and BC Transportation, both in Chiloquin, OR. Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Heather A. Crowder (Kevin) of Klamath Falls, OR, Michael Ruelle of MI; two sons, Bradley S. Bennett (Mili) of TX, and Brian Bennett (Ellen) of MI; two brothers, Roger Bennett of Lafayette, IN and Carl Bennett (Teresa) of FL; and by three sisters, Carolyn Bennett, Laraine Schilling (Steve) and Anita Allmandinger (Kent) all of Lafayette, IN.
