Phillip G. Sizelove, 73 of Overland Park, KS died Friday, August 13, 2021 at Brookdale Senior Living in Shawnee, KS. He was born on September 22, 1947 in Anderson, IN to the late James G. and Juanita M. (Clevenger) Sizelove. Phillip graduated from Anderson high school in 1965 and earned a business degree from Ball State University in 1970. He married Kathryn Kennedy on April 28, 1973 in Indianapolis, IN. Phillip retired from Novartis after many successful years in pharmaceutical sales. He was proud to serve his country in the Army Reserves from 1966 to 1973. He brought joy to many people and shared his love of music and dancing with everyone. He will be fondly remembered by his dear friends, especially from their small faith group. Phillip is survived by his wife, Kathryn, son James of Overland Park KS, sister Pamela M. (Bill) Groce of Middletown, IN; goddaughter Rebekah Russell and great-goddaughter Lily. Also surviving are many family members including three brothers in law: Martin Kennedy of Oxford IN, Patrick Kennedy (Marge) of Flora IN, Timothy (Norine) Kennedy of Oxford IN; three sisters-in-law: Margaret (Joseph) Hunnicutt of Huntington, IN, Ella (Mike) Mannebach of Mesa AZ, Mary Kevin (Stuart) Lunsford of Duluth MN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Patricia Myers, brother-in-law Richard Myers and four sisters-in-law: Joan Baulos, Sally Griffin, Beverly Kennedy and Pearl Kennedy. Services will be held on Friday, August 27 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church at 504 S Michigan St Oxford, IN. Visitation from 11:30 to 12:45, rosary at 12:45 and funeral mass at 1:00. Fr. Richard Weisenberger officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations go to the Alzheimer's Association through the Heartland (Anderson) Walk to End Alzheimer's.
