Elizabeth E. “Betty” (Windler) Korty, 70, of Romney, Indiana, peacefully entered into her eternal reward on Thursday, January 6, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Betty was born in Lafayette, IN, on January 7, 1951 to the late Virgil and M. Eileen (Morrissey) Windler of Oxford, Indiana. She graduated in 1969 from Benton Central HS, and briefly attended Purdue University. On May 5, 1973 she married Daniel N. She was involved in Indiana Rural Youth, the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association Auxiliary, the Tippecanoe County Extension Homemakers, the St. Mary Cathedral Altar Rosary Society, and recently a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Crawfordsville. She lived a life of loving service to others, and was well known for her delicious homemade cooking and preserving home grown produce.
