Barbara Mckinnis

Barbara L. McKinnis, 86, of Romney, IN passed away at Cumberland Pointe Healthcare in West Lafayette 8:20 AM Wednesday March 24, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis May 2, 1934, the daughter of the late Reuben and Lois (Sims) Wooten and was a graduate of Broad Ripple Art School in Indianapolis. Her marriage was to Raymond H. McKinnis August 23, 1976 in Romney, IN and he preceded her in death September 24, 2004. Barbara was a homemaker, farmers wife, semi-truck driver and cook for ZTA Sorority at Purdue University. Surviving is a son, Lawrence “Budreau” McKinnis (wife Crystal) of Romney, IN, a daughter, Paula Guzman (husband Jose) of Muncie, IN, two grandchildren, Robert Smith (wife Lauren) and Natasha Smith, along with 12 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Romney, IN 2:00 PM Monday March 29, Pastor Bill Fields officiating.
