William Jones

William M. Jones, 67, of Lafayette, passed away at IU Arnett Hospital Saturday September 11, 2021. William was born in Anderson, IN January 4, 1954, the son of the late Albert Tenley “A.T.” and Margaret (Propps) Jones. He was a graduate of Anderson High School and Purdue University, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. William married Paula A. Gehring in Indianapolis in 1988, and she survives. He was an Associate Systems Engineer for IT End User Experience Cooperative Services – Desktop Support for Purdue University. Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Celeste M. Jones of West Lafayette, IN; a son, Matthew N. Jones of Indianapolis, IN; and by two sisters, Julia Mapes (Kenneth) of Lafayette and Elaine Pagdin (Donald) of North Carolina. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette from 10:00 until the service at 11:00 AM Thursday September 23, Pastor Larry Lain officiating.
