Timothy Reynolds

Timothy D. "Tim" Reynolds, 52, of Lafayette, died suddenly and unexpectedly Friday June 7, 2013 in Lafayette of health complications, having recently been diagnosed with lung cancer.
Tim was born in Lafayette, IN. January 23, 1961, the son of the late David B. and Geneva M. Hubertz Reynolds, and was a 1980 graduate of Harrison High School.
He worked for Tippecanoe County as a custodian at the courthouse the past 15 years, and had many courthouse friends. He was an avid Indianapolis 500 race fan, and a fan of A.J. Foyt. He was also a fan of NASCAR, and a fan of Dale Earnhart. Tim enjoyed listening to his extensive music collection, especially the Beatles and Jim Croce. He suffered from schizophrenia, being diagnosed in his twenties. Tim was pround of his independence, and refused to give up, holding a job all of his life, and not surrendering to his disability.
Surviving are two sisters, Debbie Tague (husband Stephen) of West Point, IN.; Linda Laux (husband Michael) of Jamestown, N.C.; and two brothers, Dennis Reynolds (wife Dora) of Battle Ground, IN. and Larry Reynolds of Lafayette, IN. Also surviving are three nieces, two nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia Street from 5 until 7 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home 10:30 AM Thursday, with interment to follow in West Point Cemetery.
