Timothy John Barnard, 65, of Oxford, IN passed away unexpectedly at his residence Tuesday January 29, 2019 of an apparent heart attack. Timothy was born in Lafayette October 19, 1953, the son of the late Gene and Loretta (Bennett) Barnard and was a 1972 graduate of Benton Central High School. He had been employed for 40 years at Cargill in Lafayette. Timothy loved his family, and loved the great outdoors, enjoying hunting, trapping, fishing and finding arrow heads. Surviving are three brothers, Gerald “Jerry” Barnard of Oxford, IN; Bill Barnard (wife Debbie) of Oxford, IN and Tony Barnard (wife Sherry) of Rineyville, KY; by two sisters, Sharon Fischer (husband Bob) of Bloomsdale, MO and Jackie Barnard of Dania, FL. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Steve, Dan and Jim Barnard. The Rosary will be recited at 1:45 PM followed by visitation from 2 until 4 PM Sunday Feb. 3 at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home in Oxford. The funeral will be held Monday Feb. 4 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home with Fr. Robert Klemme officiating, with interment in Oxford Catholic Cemetery.
