homas R. "Tom" Greenwood, 62, of Oxford, IN. died at Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN. Monday September 9, 2013 at 5:53 AM.
Tom was born in Lafayette April 12, 1951, the son of the late Francis Calvin Greenwood and Phyllis A. (Eberly) Greenwood Fell of Fowler, IN. He was a graduate of Oxford High School and attended Vincennes University. Tom married Deborah K. Massie at Oxford August 31, 2008, and she survives. He had worked for Lafayette Venetian Blind as a painter from 1999 until 2006.
Surviving with his wife and mother are two sons, Shawn and Justin (wife Naomi) Greenwood, both of Bentonville, AR.; a sister, Gloria Thomas (husband Harry) of Kansas City, MO.; and three step-sons, Jamie Massie (wife Holly), Mark Malone and John Malone, all of Springfield, OH. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Kaylee Greenwood and several step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Greenwood, a sister, Margo Greenwood and a step-brother, David Fell.
A memorial service will be held at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford 2:00 PM Friday, Rev. Phil Rutledge officiating, with inurnment to follow at Oxford West Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be left at www.hahngroeberfuneralhome.com.
