Thomas Peter "Pete" Arvidson

Thomas Peter “Pete” Arvidson, 84, of Lafayette, passed away Friday December 29, 2023 at 1:45 A. M. in St. Anthony Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Lafayette. Pete was born in Lafayette December 9, 1939, the son of the late Elmer Peter Arvidson and Elizabeth Aletha Bowyer Arvidson. He was a graduate of Otterbein, IN High School and Indiana Business College. Pete married Elizabeth M. Norris May 23, 1987 in Lafayette, and she survives. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Council 456 and the John Purdue Club. Surviving with his wife are four daughters, Melissa Mickle of Lafayette, IN, Terrie Toth of Lafayette, IN, Tammie (James) Monger of Lafayette, IN and Tilara (Steve) Treece of Delphi, IN; two sons, Michael Arvidson of Michigantown, IN and Stephen Arvidson of Russiaville, IN; and by a brother, John Arvidson of Lafayette, IN. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Ann Lord. Friends may call at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lafayette from 11:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 PM on Thursday January 4, 2024, Fr. Andrew Dudzinski officiating.
