Sondra Shull

Sondra K. Shull, 71, of Fowler, IN. died at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. 8:32 AM Saturday June 15, 2013 where she had been a patient since Thursday afternoon.
Sondra was born in Crawfordsville, IN. March 23, 1942, the daughter of the late Wallace and Mabel B. Martin Hood, and was a graduate of Linden High School in 1960 and also of the Indiana Beauty College. She married Richard A. Shull in Linden, IN. April 24, 1964, and he survives.
Sondra had worked at the Benton County Sheriff's office over 41 years, retiring as chief dispatcher. She was a member of the Fowler United Methodist Church, and very active in church activities; a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Indiana Sheriff's Association. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren; gardening and her flowers; and searching for antiques.
Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Dawn Scanlan (husband Joseph D., Jr.) of Hebron, KY.; Vicki Schroeder (husband Jeff) of Indianapolis, IN.; two sisters, Wilma Abdon (husband Don) of Indianapolis, IN.; and Karen Blue (husband Jim) of Locust Grove, GA.; an aunt, Virginia Martin of West Lafayette, IN. and a cousin, Joni Bernet (husband Tom) of Battle Ground, IN.
Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Alex Schroeder, Kaity and Sarah Scanlan, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an uncle, William Martin.
Friends may call at the Fowler United Methodist Church, Fowler, IN. from 9:30 until the service at 11:30 AM Thursday, Pastor Brenda Ludwig officiating, with interment to follow at Linden (IN) Cemetery.
