Priscilla Bazler

Priscilla Jean Bazler, 85, of Lafayette, died at St. Anthony's Healthcare in Lafayette 5:400 PM Friday January 1, 2016 where she had resided since August 2013. Priscilla was born in Lafayette April 30, 1930, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Nova Graves Pappas. Mrs. Bazler was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School and attended Warren-Wilson College in Asheville, NC. She married William N. Bazler in Lafayette June 8, 1958, and he preceded her in death March 10, 2005. Mrs. Bazler attended Elston Presbyterian Church and served as a lay minister for many congregations over the years. Surviving is a daughter, Tara Bazler of Bloomington, IN and a sister, Frances Lucille Laguire (husband David) of Lafayette, IN. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Siara Bazler of Bloomington, IN. She was preceded in death by a son, Brad Bazler and a granddaughter, Cassaundra Johansen. There will be no services held at this time.
