Phyllis Fell

Phyllis Ann Fell, 87, of Oxford, IN. died at Green Hill Manor in Fowler, IN. Monday November 24, 2014 at 4:07 A.M. Phyllis was born in Lafayette, IN. September 21, 1927, the daughter of the late Isaac and Thelma Brown Eberly and was a graduate of Pine Village High School. She was first married to Francis C. Greenwood February 16, 1945 and he died in 1967. Phyllis later married Richard Fell January 16, 1971 and he preceded her in death July 19, 2008. She was a member of the Oxford Federated Church and had been employed as a bookkeeper for the Oxford State Bank over 30 years before her retirement. Surviving is a daughter, Gloria Jean Thomas (husband Harry) of Grandview, MO; a sister, Juanita Young of Pine Village, IN and a daughter-in-law, Debra Greenwood of Oxford, IN. Also surviving are four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margo Greenwood, two sons, Thomas R. Greenwood and David Greenwood; and a step-son, David Fell. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM Friday, Pastor Phil Rutledge officiating. The interment will follow in Oxford West Cemetery.
