Paul Brutus

Paul F. Brutus, 83, of Greensburg, IN and formerly of Lafayette and Pine Village, IN, passed away at AMG Specialty Hospital in Greenfield, IN Friday June 2, 2017 at 2:16 AM. He was born in Pine Village May 20, 1934, the son of the late Arba and Addie Jones Brutus and was a graduate of Pine Village High School and the Lincoln Welding School. Paul was employed in the skilled trades as a welder, working for various companies in the Lafayette area over the years. He married Diane Karlson at Lafayette in 1957 and she preceded him in death January 2, 1991. Paul served in the US Army from 1956 until 1958. He enjoyed woodworking, home projects and gardening. Surviving are two sons, Bryan Brutus (wife LueAnn) of Ft. Myers, FL; Steve Brutus (wife Rita) of Columbus, IN; by a brother, Richard Brutus of Safety Harbor, FL; and by two grandsons, Brad Brutus (wife Regina) of Columbus, IN and Logan of Columbus, IN. He was preceded in death by a son, Tim Brutus, and by two brothers, Leroy and Glen J. Brutus. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM Saturday June 10 in the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford, IN, Pastor Mike Link officiating.
