Patrick Clark

Patrick Joseph "Pat" Clark, 75, of Lafayette, died at IU Arnett Hospital 10:30 PM Wednesday March 4, 2015 where he had been a patient since Monday. He had been in failing health since 2013. Patrick was born in Lafayette June 18, 1939, the son of the late Joseph Michael and Irene Barbara Metzinger Clark. He was a member of the first graduating class of Lafayette Central Catholic High School in 1958 and served in the US Army prior to the Viet Nam War. Pat married Concepcion "Connie" Bueno at St. Lawrence Catholic Church June 24, 1967 and she survives. Mr. Clark was employed 34 years at the former Egyptian Lacquer, and later worked at Purdue University at Shreve and Earhart Hall in the food services area. He was a life-long member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church; a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus member and a member of the American Legion, Post 11. Surviving with his wife are two sons, Michael Clark (wife Michelle) of White Oak, Texas; Brian Clark (fiance' Heather Glick); and by two sisters, Kathleen and Barbara Clark of Lafayette. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Michaela and Braden Clark and by two foster grandchildren, Carlos and America Camacho. He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Jo Jacot and a brother Michael Clark in infancy. The Rosary will be recited at 3:45 PM Monday, followed by visitation until 7 PM at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church 10:00 AM Tuesday, Fr. Eric Underwood officiating, with interment following at St. Mary's Cemetery with American Legion Post 11 military rites. If friends desire, memorials may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
