Patricia Bice

Patricia Ann Bice, 77, of Lafayette, died at her residence Friday December 12, 2008 suddenly and unexpectedly. Born October 13, 1931, in Staten Island, New York, the daughter of the late John P. and Catherine Hagan Greene, she had resided in Lafayette since July 6, 1947, moving here from Staten Island. She attended New Dorp High School on Staten Island, and married Harold Dean Bice in Lafayette September 25, 1948, and he preceded her in death April 4, 1996. Mrs. Bice was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, the St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society, the Home Hospital auxiliary and was an avid reader. She was a homemaker, but had also worked for CTS Microelectronics 13 years before retiring June 27, 1986. Surviving are 2 daughters, Barbara Ann Jennings (husband William) of Greencastle, IN.; Bonita Susan Bardey (husband Stephen) of Lavonia, GA.; 2 sons, Randal Alan Bice (wife Cheryl) of St. Charles, IL.; Richard Dean Bice (wife Kimberly) of Hollywood, FL.; 2 brothers, Donald J. Greene (wife Carol) of Lafayette, IN.; Robert D. Greene (wife Margaret) of Dayton, IN.; and 4 sisters, Joan Katowich (husband Edward) of Staten Island, NY.; Rosemary Jokerst (husband Robert) of Belleville, IL.; Arlene Livingston of Lafayette, IN. and Anita Baronowski (husband Paul) of Evansville, IN. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by 3 brothers, John W., Peter F. and Richard Thomas Greene. Friends may call from the time of the Rosary at 4:45 PM until 7:30 PM Tuesday at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayettte. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Wednesday, St. Mary's Cathedral, Fr. Eric Underwood officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery.
