Noretta A. Campbell, 74, of Lafayette, passed away at the residence of her daughter, Sherry Fisher in Romney Monday morning July 26, 2021. Noretta was born July 11, 1947 in the back of a grocery store in Hodgensville, KY, the daughter of the late Grady and Lillie (Noe) Terrill and had resided in Lafayette since the age of six. Her marriage was to Nathan Campbell in 1968 in Tazewell, TN and he preceded her in death December 18, 1998. She was a homemaker, avid bingo player and a former volunteer with Fishing Has No Boundaries. Noretta enjoyed sewing, crafting, attending the Northside Senior Center and spoiling her grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters, Sherry Fisher (Greg) of Romney, Kimberly James of Lafayette; a son, Terry Campbell (Talli) of Otterbein, a stepson, Greg Campbell (Annie) of Lafayette, 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two step-daughters, Sherry Nichols and Debra Smith; a step-son, Dale Campbell; and three brothers, Donald Noe, Gary Terrill and Victor King. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St. in Lafayette from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM Monday August 2, Pastor Tom Camp officiating. Interment will follow in Battle Ground Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Fishing Has No Boundaries or the North Side Senior Center.
