Nancy Shaw

Nancy Katherine Shaw, 70, of Lafayette, passed away at Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis Wednesday August 8, 2018 at 8:47 AM. Nancy was born in Lafayette August 23, 1947, the daughter of the late John Joseph and Mary Katherine Weast Halsema and attended Lafayette Jefferson High School. She was employed at Frito-Lay in Frankfort for over 20 years, and most recently at the Tippecanoe County School Corporation. Nancy enjoyed playing cards and attending her Bunco card club. Surviving are three sons, Mike Shaw (Jammie) of Raleigh, NC; Tim Shaw (Missy) of Attica, IN; Anthony Shaw of Frankfort, IN; and by five sisters, Janet Haynes (Larry) of Delphi, IN; Colleen Fisher, Connie Rehwinkel, Joanne Liphard and Marjorie Staley (Greg) all of Lafayette. Also surviving are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Riester and a brother, Patrick Halsema. A private family interment service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lafayette. Hahn-Groeber Funeral and Cremation Service of Lafayette is caring for the Shaw family.
