Michael Robert Sparrendahl

Michael Robert Sparrendahl, age 68 of West Lafayette, passed away at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette 12:18 AM Wednesday June 4, 2025. Michael ws born in Lafayette January 2, 1957, the son of the late Robert and Barbara (Metzger) Sparrendahl. He resided all of his life in Tippecanoe County and was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. Michael loved gardening, astronomy and the wonders of nature. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and attending National Drag Racing events, along with driving his pick-up trucks. Michael recently retired from Subaru of Indiana where he was employed 31 years. Surviving is a sister, Cynthia “Cindy” Martin (Phillip) of Barstow, CA. He was preceded in death by a sister, Diana Bacre.
