Mary Caldwell

Mary Ann (Moser) Caldwell, 82, of Lafayette, died at St. Mary's Healthcare in Lafayette 5:08 PM Friday January 14, 2011 where she had been a patient since June, 2009. She was born in Lafayette September 23, 1928, the daughter of the late Everett and Lucille Klinker Moser, and was a graduate of St. Francis High School in Lafayette. Mrs. Caldwell returned to Lafayette 5 years ago, having spent the previous 30 years in Brooksville, FL. A homemaker, she was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving is a daughter, Judy Edwards (husband Daniel) of Lafayette, IN.; 2 sons, Blake Caldwell (wife Jo) of Laurinburg, NC.; Roy Caldwell (wife Peggy) of Flower Mound, TX.; and 5 sisters, Rose Pace of Elwood, IN.; Sherry Hammond (husband Rex) of Cibilo, TX.; Tesslyn Rayburn (husband Harold) of Norfolk, VA.; Theresa Hoefer and Ruby Moser, both of Lafayette, IN. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her second mother, Romana (Guinn) Moser; 3 brothers, Ed,Bill and Michael Moser and a sister Jane Hayden. Friends may call at St. Boniface Catholic Church from 9 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM Wednesday, Fr. Jeff Martin officiating.
