Mary Buscoe

Mary Ellen Buscoe, 77, of Lafayette and formerly of South Bend, Indiana, died at Rosewalk Village in Lafayette 4:26 PM Saturday August 14, 2010. Born February 2, 1933 in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of the late John and Lillian Smith Schultz, she had resided in Lafayette the past 5 months. She married Raymond J. Buscoe in South Bend January 19, 1953, and he preceded her in death January 12, 1991. Mrs. Buscoe was a homemaker and a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church in South Bend. Surviving are 2 daughters, Theresa Sommer (husband Michael) of Kokomo, IN.; Karen Taylor of Lafayette, IN.; and a son, Robert Busko (wife Laura) of Plymouth, IN. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Schultz and a half-brother, Eugene Warren. Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, 1104 Columbia St. Lafayette from 10:00 AM until the service at 12:00 PM Tuesday, Fr. Eric Underwood officiating.
