Martha Barnard

Martha L. Barnard, age 67, of Oxford, IN. died suddenly and unexpectedly Tuesday October 6, 2015 at 9:23 PM in the emergency room of St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette following recent surgery. Martha was born in Lafayette, IN December 12, 1947, the daughter of the late Roger and Evelyn Robertson Tatlock and was a 1966 graduate of Oxford, IN High School. She married Gerald D. Barnard in Oxford at St. Patrick's Catholic Church and he survives. Martha loved caring for and babysitting her grandchildren. She enjoyed flower gardening, and decorating her home for the holidays and the different seasons of the year. Surviving beside her husband is a daughter, Jeri Lynn Strasburger (husband Jeff) of Earl Park, IN; one son, Bart Barnard of Oxford, IN; four grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle, Hunter and Hillary. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bret and Bradley Barnard; a daughter-in-law, Tracey Barnard; and two sisters, Loretta Pleasant and Judy Vaughn. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford Chapel from 3 until 6 PM Sunday. Funeral services at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford Chapel 10:00 AM Monday, Fr.
