Marjorie Lahrman

Marjorie Ann Lahrman, 87, of Lafayette, died at St. Elizabeth East Hospital emergency room suddenly and unexpectedly Thursday April 28, 2016. Marjorie was born inLafayette, IN February 25, 1929, the daughter of the late Marion Isfalt and Doris (Walters) Isfalt and was a graduate of Dayton, IN High School. She married Lawrence J, Lahrman in Lafayette, IN June 29, 1948 and he preceded her in death July 20, 2014. Marjorie was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 11, and a member of the Red Hat Society. She retired from Hawkins Environmental where she was employed as a secretary. Surviving are two daughters, Julie A. McKinsey (Robert) and Kathleen M. Dienhart (Wayne) both of Lafayette; four grandchildren, Dan Dienhart (Alesa), Erick Dienhart, Kyle McKinsey and Kari Trinkle (Rob); five great-grandchildren, Alicia Fehnel (Daniel), Drew, Adam and Evan Dienhart and Liam Trinkle; by two great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Eivin Fehnel and a grand-daughter-in-law, Valerie Dienhart. She was preceded in death by a son, David L. Lahrman; a grandson, Jeffrey Dienhart, a great-grandson, Tyler "T.J." Dienhart; a sister and two brothers. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette from the Rosary at 3:45 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday May 3.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church 10:30 AM Wednesday May 4, Fr. Eric Underwood officiating, with interment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Jeffrey and T.J.
