Lora Poss

On April 9, 2018 heaven gained another angel, Lora Ann Poss (Wolfe). Lora was born February 12, 1969 in Lafayette, IN to Sarah and James Wolfe. She grew up in Oxford, IN. Lora was a graduate of the Benton Central Class of 1987. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and full-time mom until 2000 when she added Licensed Practical Nurse to her title graduating from Ivy Tech. Lora was known by many as a wonderful, compassionate and caring nurse, mother to more than her own children, and sister in the Lord. She was one of the gentlest human beings anyone could know and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Lora is survived by her daughter Leela, son-in-law Matthew and grandson Maximus Roach of Oxford, IN. Her second daughter Layla Poss, and her father, James D. Wolfe both of Oxford, IN. Preceding her in death is her mother Sarah Ruth Wolfe. A celebration of life will be held Saturday April 28, 2018 at the Oxford Lion’s Den on 5th Street in Oxford, IN 47971 at 4:00 PM EST.
