Leonard Cassida

Leonard C. Cassida, 79, of Linden, IN. died at Creasy Springs Healthcare in Lafayette Sunday August 11, 2013 at 4:15 PM. Leonard was born in Owen County, IN. December 1, 1933 the son of the late Ernest and V. Leon Price Cassida and was a graduate of Patricksburg, IN. High School. He married Norma F. McCart in Owen County June 15, 1957, and she survives.
Leonard served in the US Navy during the Korean War; was a member of St. Paul Community Church in Linden; and was an electrician, a proud member of IBEW Local 668 in Lafayette.
Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Patricia Riehle (husband Bill) of Coatesville, IN. two sons, Anthony and Tommy Cassida, (wife Molli) both of Lafayette, IN.; and by two sisters, Donna Ruble (husband John) of Evansville, IN. and Nancy Mills of Avon, IN. Also surviving are six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Cassida and two sisters Irene Moore and Wanda Wilson.
Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Linden from 5 until 7 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Linden at 10:30 AM Thursday, Rev. Dr. R.
