Laura Anne Martin, 58, of Lafayette, died unexpectedly at her residence at 2:46 PM Monday August 17, 2015 of natural causes. Laura was born in Lebanon, IN August 5, 1957, the daughter of James S. martin and the late Delores June Bodine Martin and was a graduate of Northridge High School at Middlebury, IN. She had been employed as a childcare provider at Purdue University for many years, and recently was employed at Custom Forms. Laura was a dedicated volunteer for several food banks in the Lafayette area, including the Battle Ground United Methodist Church food pantry. Surviving is her father, James S. Martin (wife Anna) of Largo, FL; a brother, Jeffrey S. Martin (wife Maggie) of Conway, AR and an uncle, Robert Bodine of Atlanta, GA. A graveside service will be held at Spring Vale Cemetery Tuesday August 25,1:00 PM, Rev. Terry Brammer officiating.
