Larry Newlin

Larry D. Newlin, 62, of Crawfordsville, died at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianpolis Sunday February 22, 2014 at 4:20 AM. Larry was born in Crawfordsville February 8, 1953, the son of the late Eddie L. and Dollie M. Zachary Newlin, and was a 1971 graduate of Darlington High School. He married Denise L. Leslie in Crawfordsville, and she survives. Larry had been employed at Lithonia Lighting in Crawfordsville for over 20 years, and was a member of St. Paul Community Church in Linden. Surviving with his wife are four sons, Daniel L., Larry D., Ben A. and Charles E. Newlin all of Crawfordsville, IN; a grandson, Mike Newlin of Crawfordsville; and by two sisters, Diana Dagley of Darlington, IN. and Rosemary Kiger (husband Marion) of Crawfordsville along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. A memorial service will be held at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home in Linden 2:30 PM Saturday, Rev. Dr. R. Clayton Kendall officiating.
