Larry Hamilton

Larry W. Hamilton, 69, of Lafayette, died at his residence Monday October 26, 2009. Born in Lafayette February 19, 1940, the son of the late Joseph and Mildred Corwin Hamilton he was a lifetime resident of Lafayette. Mr. Hamilton attended Lafayette schools, and was a member of the Moose Lodge. He was a Purdue sport fan, especially football and basketball, as well as enjoyed collecting coins. For over 40 years, he worked as a carpet installer/subcontractor for Carpetland. Surviving is a daughter, Tina Hamilton of Lafayette, IN.; 2 sons, Michael Hamilton and Daniel Hamilton (wife Jessica) both of Lafayette, IN.; and a brother, Rex Hamilton of Kingsman, Texas. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and 2 step-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
