Kyle Stacy

Kyle James Stacy, 25, of Lafayette, died at his residence Thursday April 23, 2015 suddenly and unexpectedly. Kyle was born in Lafayette November 29, 1989, the son of James Stacy and Nancy Schafer Fassnacht. He was a graduate of St. Lawrence School and Benton Central High School. He was a member of the DDR club, enjoyed playing video games, atv riding and was a great uncle, playing with his nieces and nephews. Kyle was a crew leader at Midwest Rentals. Surviving is his mother and step-father, Nancy (Paul) Fassnacht of Otterbein, IN; his father and stepmother James (Angie) Stacy of Lafayette, IN; paternal grandparents Jim and Donna Stacy of West Lafayette, IN; maternal grandmother, Ruth Schafer of Lafayette, IN; a sister, Amber Caudill (Dustin) of Lafayette; a niece, Leah Caudill; three aunts, Karen O'Leary; Elizabeth Schafer and Joan (Jerome) Bullock; two uncles Tony (Lori) Schafer and Randy (Lydia) Stacy; his girlfriend, Krystle and her daughter Emmie Wanagitis, along with many cousins, great aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Schafer. The Rosary service will be held at 3:45 PM Monday, followed by visitation from 4 until 7 PM Monday at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St. Lafayette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church 10:30 AM Tuesday, Fr. Stephen Duquaine officiating, with interment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery.
