Kathleen Ballard

Kathleen R. Ballard, 67, of Lafayette, died at IU Arnett Hospital 4:03 AM Monday June 1, 2015. Kathleen was born in Chicago, IL March 30, 1948, the daughter of the late George F. and Beatrice Turek Zajis. She was a graduate of Lansing, IL High School and studied art and design at South Suburban College at South Holland, IL. Kathleen was an artist and worked as a newspaper lithographer. Surviving is a son, Jason A. Ballard (wife Camille) of Lafayette, IN along with two grandsons, Nikolas and Joseph Ballard; two nieces Elizabeth Hanrahan and Kristin Cook and three nephews Nikolas, Colin and Christopher Zajis. She was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy G. Zajis. Private family services will be held at a later date. Hahn-Groeber Funeral and Cremation Service is caring for the family.
