Josephine Marie Pollock, 97, of Crawfordsville, IN, formerly of New Richmond, IN died at the Lane House in Crawfordsville 5:20 PM Wednesday April 2, 2014 where she had resided since 2006. Josephine was born in Hazleton, PA July 16, 1916, the daughter of the late Angelo and Marie Cardamone Barbetta and attended Hazleton schools. She married Ernest Ivan Pollock in Crawfordsville June 8, 1939, and he preceded her in death May 24, 2005. Josephine was a homemaker, and was a member of the former New Richmond United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women’s Society at the church. Surviving is a daughter, Patricia Ratcliff (husband Gerald) of New Richmond, IN. a grandson, James Ratcliff, two great-granddaughters, Dominic and Danielle Ratcliff, and a great-great-grandson, Stone Ratcliff. Josephine was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Jean and Paula Jo; three brothers and six sisters. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Linden from 10:00 AM until the service at 11:00 AM Saturday, Rev. Dr. R. Clayton Kendall officiating.
