James Wolfe

James Donald "Donnie" Wolfe passed away Wednesday July 11, 2018 at Green Hill Manor in Fowler, IN, He was born December 2, 1938 to the late William and Alda (Cline) Wolfe in Templeton IN. He was a graduate of Oxford High School and married Sarah Manning. They had one daughter Lora Ann, both proceeded him in death. Donnie lived his life to the fullest he could. He enjoyed giving everyone a hard time. Donnie was known to be onery and stubborn to everyone he came across. He loved watching and cheering for IU, the Bears, and the Cubs and playing Spinners wheel chair basketball and summer bankshot tournaments. Donnie always looked forward to his yearly summer trip to Michigan to see family and go fishing. Surviving is his granddaughter Leela (Sharp) Matthew Roach, and Layla Poss and his great-grandson Maximus Roach. Also surviving is Donnie's brother"Mugs" (Caroline) Wolfe, sister-in-law Carole Wolfe and a plethora of nieces and nephews to whom he was close to and dearly loved. Proceeded in death by his parents, wife and daughter; brothers Harvey and Virgil "Zeke" Wolfe; sisters Mildred Brooks and Leona Armstrong. A celebration of Life will be held July 28, 2018, Oxford Lions Club at 1:00pm. Feel free to bring a dish as this will be a carry in and time of celebration. Memorial contributions will go to the family to assist in costs.
