Howard Vice

Howard Ray Vice, 66, of Omaha, NE. formerly of Oxford, IN. died at the Hospice House in Omaha, NE. 6:33 AM Wednesday Nov. 21, 2012. Howard was born in Lafayette, IN. January 15, 1946, the son of the late Harold and Lulu Johnson Vice. Mr. Vice was a graduate of Oxford High School and Indiana State University in Terre Haute.
He married Linda K. Buchanan at Fowler, IN. August 23, 1969, and she survivies. Howard was a member of All Nations Church in Omaha, and enjoyed fishing and playing golf. He retired as plant manager for Frito Lay in Council Bluffs, IA in 2004 after 31 years, and after retirement did consulting work for Frito Lay.
Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Leslee Vice of Indianapolis, IN.; and a son, Chad Vice (wife Candice) of Guadalajara, Mexico. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Alex, Esther, William and Matthew. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald A. Vice.
Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford from 5 until 8 PM Thursday. Graveside services at Boswell Cemetery 11:00 AM Friday, Pastor Dan L. Youg officiating.
