Heather Boehle

Heather Lynn Boehle, 32, of Oxford, IN. died at IU Health, Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis 3:31 PM Tuesday February 18, 2014, where she had been a patient since Sunday. For the past six years, she had been undergoing treatment for brain cancer. Heather was born in Dothan, Alabama August 29, 1981, the daughter of Steve Dawson and Tina Vessels, and was a 2001 graduate of North Newton High School. She married Jeremie A. Boehle in Fowler, IN. December 27, 2007, and he survives. Heather was a homemaker, and enjoyed flower gardening and tending to the flowers at the Oxford/Oak Grove Township Fire Department. Her children and nieces and nephews were her life, and would do anything for them. Surviving with her husband are her father, Steve Dawson of Brook, IN.; her mother, Tina Vessels of Milford, IL.; a daughter, Emma Lynn Boehle and a son, Dakota Adam Boehle, both at home; a brother, Travis Dawson of Kentland, IN. and paternal grandparents, James L. and Marjorie I. Dawson of Lafayette, IN. Also surviving are an aunt and uncle, Teresa and Michael Dawson, and their children, Elizabeth Myers and James Dawson, with whom she had formerly resided. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Oxford, from 5 until 8 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home 10:30 AM Saturday, Pastor Phil Rutledge officiating, with interment in Oxford West Cemetery.
