Grover Wethington

Grover C. Wethington, 81, of Crawfordsville, IN. and formerly of New Richmond, IN. died at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Crawfordsville 6:55 PM Thursday August 8, 2013. Grover was born in Ladoga, IN. May 6, 1932, the son of the late Reuben "Eli" and Beatrice Crowder Wethington and was a 1952 graduate of Wallace High School in Wallace, IN.
He married Velma Louise Wright in Crawfordsville June 29, 1952 and she survives. Grover was employed as a dispatcher for Barrett Transport for a number of years before retiring in 2002. He enjoyed camping, woodworking and motorcycle riding.
Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Dianna Lynn Matricia (husband Robert B.) of Linden, IN.; two sons, Stanley Dale Wethington (wife LeAnn) of Crawfordsville, IN.; and Russell Allen Wethington (wife Tina) of New Richmond, IN., along with a sister, Edna Mae Ratclif of Kingman, IN. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Linden from 2:00 PM until the service at 4:00 PM Sunday, Mike Whitacre officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date in New Richmond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lane House, Crawfordsville, IN.
