Born in Cleveland, OH on October 18, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emily (Jaeger) Stenger. Gerry was a 1948 graduate of Marymount Catholic High School in Cleveland, OH. She married Eugene A. Veverka at St. Benedict’s Church in Cleveland, OH on August 9, 1958. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2000.
Gerry carried her faith with her throughout her life, a testament to her deep devotion to her Catholic upbringing. She is survived by her beloved son, Gary (Margie) Veverka, along with her grandchildren: Megan (Karl) Tollefson, Danielle (Kyle) Pitstick, Conner Veverka, and Nicholas Veverka. Additionally, she leaves behind 7 great-grandchildren (Dalton Thacker, Braden Thacker, Kylee Tollefson, Xander Tollefson, Dallas Pitstick, Houston Pitstick and Austin Pitstick) who brought her immense joy and pride.
