George Rumpza

George David “Butch” Rumpza, 76, of Morro Bay, CA, formerly of Lafayette, IN passed away at Bayside Care Center in Morro Bay Friday December 30, 2022. Butch was born in Lafayette October 10, 1946, the son of the late George Frank and Mary A. (Donahoe) Rumpza and was a graduate of Lafayette Central Catholic High School. While residing in Lafayette, he attended St. Boniface Catholic Church. Before retiring, he was an owner and operator of Wendy’s Restaurants in Ohio. Surviving are two sisters, Barbara Jean Wood of Lafayette, IN and Janet Bryant of Bonita Springs, FL. A graveside service will be held at St. Boniface Cemetery in Lafayette Wednesday June 21 at 10:00 AM, Fr. Dennis Faker officiating.
