Gary Welshimer

Gary Welshimer, 61, of Linden, Indiana passed away December 10, 2018. Gary loved life and lived it to its fullest. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and never met a stranger. He loved fishing, working on cars, and gardening. Gary was a hard working man. Over the years he worked as a machinist for Impex, Raybestos and Stalcop. He worked at Ag Alumni and also drove a truck for HiTECH where everyone knew him as “Clutch.” That name followed him the rest of his life and he loved that. Although his favorite job, he didn’t receive until later in life and that was Grandpa. Gary touched so many people in his life that can’t be mentioned but he will be missed terribly. Gary is survived by his wife Angie, his children Bruce and Brad, stepchildren Cody and Chase Eldridge, Uncle Tony Endicott (Lena), siblings Dave (Sharon) Welshimer, Kevin Welshimeir, Linda Clodjeaux, grandchildren Cole, Brayden, Kohle Harris, Chase, Sophie, and Tyler, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents George Welshimer and Ruth Evelyn Endicott Welshimer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association. Friends may call at the Linden United Methodist Church in Linden, IN from 2 PM until the Celebration of Life Service from 4 until 5 PM Saturday December 15, Pastor Erin Michelle Weaver officiating.
