Esther Robertson

Esther Mae Robertson, 79, of Linden, IN. died at St. Elizabeth Hospital East 4:23 PM Tuesday June 25, 2013. Esther was born in Montgomery County, IN. July 7, 1933, the daughter of the late Edward and Cleon Gillock Brakefield and attended Dover, IN. schools. She married Lester R. Robertson at Thorntown, IN. March 5, 1951, and he preceded her in death June 26, 1996. Esther was a homemaker, and a charter member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Lafayette. She enjoyed camping, her pets, along with bird watching.
Surviving is a son, Steven Robertson of Lafayette, IN. and a brother, Richard Brakefield (wife Jullia) of Lexington, IL. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Sheets and Marjorie Stull and by two brothers, Kenny and Ralph Brakefield.
Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette from 11:00 AM until the service at 1:00 PM Monday, Pastors James E. and Terry M.
