Erin Lee Pearson

Erin Lee Pearson, 43, of West Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on October 15, 2025, surrounded by her family. Erin passed away peacefully after a courageous three year battle with cancer.

Erin was born in Lafayette, Indiana, on July 11, 1982, to the late Carl D. Pearson and Colleen M. Pearson. She was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School and Purdue University.

Erin dedicated her life to helping others through her career as a social worker and program director with Valley Oaks Health. She had a positive impact as a mentor to many social workers. The residents of Tippecanoe Villa held a special place in her heart.

Family was very important to Erin. She enjoyed crafting, visiting lighthouses, reading, and music.

Erin is survived by her mother, Colleen Pearson, brothers Kerry (Belinda) Pearson of Crawfordsville, Indiana, and Ken (Amy) Pearson of DeMotte, Indiana, sister Katina (Brian) Prickett of Lafayette, Indiana, and companion Paul Lane and his son Ian of West Lafayette, Indiana. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and one great-niece.

She is preceded in death by her father Carl, maternal and paternal grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.

Erin was a member of Saint Ann Catholic Church.

Friends may call at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 612 Wabash Ave. in Lafayette from 9:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM Friday October 24, Fr. Christopher Omotosho officiating. Interment services will be held at 2:30 PM Friday at Calvary Cemetery in Crawfordsville, IN.

In lieu of flowers, it was Erin’s wish that donations be made to the Klondike Branch of the Tippecanoe County Library or the Crawfordsville District Public Library.
