Ellen Faust

Ellen Faust, 87, of Linden, IN. died at Bickford Cottage of Crawfordsville Wednesday September 21, 2011 at 1:35 PM. She had made her residence there since December, 2005. Mrs. Faust was born in Montgomery County, IN. September 10, 1924, the daughter of the late Roy C. and Elizabeth Martin Sabens, and was a graduate of Clarks Hill, IN. High School and attended business college in Dayton, OH. She married Lloyd W. Faust in Linden, IN. November 25, 1945, and he preceded her in death November 5, 2002. Mrs. Faust was employed at the North Montgomery School Corporation as a secretary, retiring in 1986 after 21 years. Mrs. Faust was a member of the Linden United Methodist Church; a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Oriental Chapter at Crawfordsville, IN. and was past deputy and past grand star point; and was a volunteer pink lady at St. Clare Hospital in Crawfordsville. Surviving are 3 daughters, Karen Jamison (husband Thomas M.) of Williamsburg, VA.; Linda Roberson (husband Dean) of New Albany, IN.; Gayle Massa (husband Richard) of North Salem, IN.; 2 sisters, Ann Lanum of Crawfordsville, IN. and Martha Kitsmiller of Florida. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Chad Jamison, Amy Kelly and Courtney Cox; and 3 great-grandchildren, Logan, Jamie and Emily. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Sabens. Friends may call at the Linden United Methodist Church from 5 until 8 PM Friday, with Order of Eastern Star Service at 7:00 PM Friday. Funeral 10:30 AM Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Dr. LaMont Bonath and Rev. Patty Bymaster officiating, with interment in Linden Cemetery. If friends desire, memorials may be made to the Linden United Methodist Church.
