Ellen Amstutz

Ellen Marie Amstutz was born in rural Tippecanoe County on December 23, 1929, the daughter of the late Henry Hathaway and Edna Lucas. She died on February 22, 2018. Ellen was a 1948 graduate of St. Francis High School. She is survived by her husband Vaughn Amstutz; her sons, Allen (wife Janie); Harold (wife Cindy); her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and her life-long best friend Patricia White. She was employed as a secretary and bookkeeper at several Lafayette businesses. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St. Lafayette from 12:00 PM until the service at 1:00 PM Monday Feb. 26, Pastor Owen Mason officiating.
