Elhadi Tantan

Elhadi Tantan, 66, of Lafayette, IN. died at his residence in Lafayette 2:40 PM Saturday November 19, 2011. He and his wife had recently moved to Lafayette from Omaha, Nebraska.
Elhadi was born January 21, 1945 in Meknes, Morocco the son of the late Mohammed Tantan and Fatima Alami Naaroussi.
He married Rabia Rahim at Meknes, Morocco in 1974, and she survives.
Surviving with his wife are 5 sons, Ahmed Tantan (wife Douni) of Omaha, NE.; Kamal Tantan, Montreal, Quebec, Canada; Abdellah Tantan of Omaha, NE.; Dris Tantan (wife Rebecca) of Lafayette, IN.; and Ali Tantan of Omaha, NE. Also surviving are 3 brothers, 4 sisters and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
A prayer service was held at the Elhoda Foundation in Fishers Sunday, with interment following in Oaklawn Cemetery in Fishers.
