Dupont Snoddy

Dupont L. Snoddy, 54, of Lafayette, died at Indiana University Health, Arnett Hospital in Lafayette 4:07 AM Monday May 20, 2013. Dupont was born in Lafayette July 28, 1958, the son of the late Norman L. and Leota P. Clutieur Snoddy and was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. He was a member of the Brady Lane Church of Christ, and enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, tasting new foods and watching old time televison shows. Surviving is an uncle, Dennis Snoddy of Terre Haute, IN.; his guardians William E. Wheat and Patti L. Cox, both of Lafayette; an aunt, Donna Snoddy; and by cousins Wayne and Dale Snoddy and by his dog Cookie, as well as by many friends. Dupont continues to live on, as he was a donor of his cornea's to IOPO. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St. from 9 AM until the service at 11:00 AM Saturday, Rev. J. William Overbay officiating. Interment will follow at Battle Ground Cemetery. If friends desire, memorials may be made to the Brady Lane Church of Christ.
