Dianna Garrett

Dianna Garrett, 64, of Oxford, died at IU Arnett Hospital on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Born in Lafayette, IN on September 29, 1961.

Dianna was a bartender in Oxford for many years. Above all else, she loved her children and grandchildren and treasured the time she spent with them. She was strong-willed and never afraid to speak her mind, a quality that made her uniquely herself. Dianna also had a special fondness for turtles and enjoyed collecting them throughout the years. She will be remembered for her love of family, her spirited personality, and the many memories she created with those she loved.

Dianna is survived by her husband Douglas and her children, Timothy (Denise) Richey of Delphi; Tricia (Paul) Wild of Oxford; Shannon Shockey of Lafayette; brother, Bob (Brenda) Cadwallader of Lafayette; grandchildren, Mason Wild, Maliya (Justin) Familia, Kristen Wild, Parker Richey, Luna Shockey, Easton Richey; great-grandchild, Stella Coon.

She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Glenn & Patricia Parsley; birth mother, Beverly Wethington (Jewell) and her brother, Rick Cooper.
