Deborah Robin Denise Woodard

Deborah Robin Denise Woodard passed away on September 12, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on March 14, 1956, in Montgomery County, Indiana to the late Robert Willhite & Beatrice Jackson.

Debbie will be remembered as a woman with great humor who made friends very easily. She was outgoing before she became ill, yet she also valued her privacy and enjoyed the peace of home. She loved watching the Food Network and enjoyed cooking, interests that reflected the comfort and warmth she brought to everyday life. Among the things she treasured was a ring from her son that was a meaningful gift from her son that remained close to her heart.

She is survived by her daughter, Cherylynn "Jennifer" James; her sister, Teresa Putnam; her grandchildren, Wesley Woodard, Aaliyah Summitt, Paris Summitt and Annabell Woodard; and 3 great grandchildren; Naziah Roberson, Nae’lonii Smith and Nazir Smith. Each of them carries forward memories of her humor, her easy way with people, and the quiet strength that shaped her life.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents as well as her son, Joey Woodard; her brothers, David Stull and Joseph Stull; and her sister, Sharon Stull.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 PM at Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home in Linden.

Interment will follow at Linden Cemetery. Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home of Linden is honored to serve the Woodard family.
