Connie A. Sigman, 61, of Lafayette, died at Heritage Healthcare in West Lafayette 4:31 P.M. Sunday November 8, 2009 where she had been a patient the past 4 weeks. Born May 22, 1948 in Lafayette, the daughter of Wilma Lee Frye, and the late Harley Eugene Frey, she was a graduate of Benton Central High School. She married David M. Sigman near Otterbein at the Wayside Chapel August 7, 1971, and he survives. Mrs. Sigman worked for several years as an executive housekeeper for the Best Western in Lafayette and enjoyed cooking and baking. Surviving with her husband is a daughter, Davida J. "Dee" Lucas (husband Richard) of Lafayette; her mother, Wilma Lee Frye of Otterbein, IN. a sister Karen L. Schipper of Nashville, IN.; and a brother James Eugene Frye (wife Sarah) of Galveston, Texas. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren Gaige and Trinity Lucas. A memorial service will be held at the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Chapel 11:00 AM Friday with entombment to follow, Chaplain Zach Rainey officiating.
