Charles Richard Larson

January 10, 1957 — August 20, 2025

Fowler, IN

Charles Richard Larson, 68, of Fowler, passed away on Wednesday, August 20th, at Monticello Healthcare after a battle with cancer. He was born in Lafayette, IN on January 10, 1957, the son of Charles Lee and Phyllis E. Larson. He was a 1976 graduate of Benton Central High School.

For the past decade, he had a fulfilling career at the Wolcott Feed Mill, where he handled the packaging and selling of feed. He had genuine love for engaging with people. His job was more than just work; it was a chance for him to connect with folks in town, building relationships with the customers who came in. He found joy in the little things, and perhaps that was his greatest gift— making due with whatever life handed him.

While Charles may not have had many friends, those he did have were cherished deeply. He valued quality over quantity, forming bonds that were steadfast and meaningful. His friends and family knew him as someone with a knack for fiddling around—taking apart appliances and gadgets to understand how they worked but didn't always get around to putting it back together. He will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure to know him & love him.

Charles is survived by his mother Phyllis Larson of Fowler; brothers Don Larson of Fowler and Dale Larson of Lafayette; lastly his nephew Charlie Larson of California.

Charles is preceded in death by his father Clarles Lee Larson and his sister Debra Norzagary.

Services will be held privately for Charles. Those desiring may contribute in memory of Charles to the American Cancer Society. Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home is honored to serve the Larson family. Please leave memories and condolences at hahngroeberfuneralhome.com
