Catherine Bickett

Catherine Susanne Bickett, 82, of Lafayette, died at her residence at 4:35 A.M. Friday November 13, 2009. Born November 1, 1927 in West Lafayette, the daughter of the late William Francis and Mary Eva Storck Lannert, she was a life- long Lafayette resident. She married Joseph Calvin Bickett in Lafayette May 14, 1949, and he preceded her in death May 11, 2003. Mrs. Bickett was a 1946 graduate of St. Francis High school; was a homemaker and a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Surviving are 5 daughters, Carolyn S. Pruitt (husband Thomas) of Lafayette, IN.; Joan C. Killian (husband Steve) of Louisville, KY.; Mary C. Heath (husband Dennis) of Noblesville, IN.; Judith M. Shorter (husband Thomas) of Lafayette, IN.; Jean A. Bickett-Walker (husband Daryl) of West Point, IN.; 3 sons, John J. Bickett of Lafayette, IN.; Mark J. Bickett (wife Linda) of Fishers, IN.; Michael J. Bickett of Flora, IN.; 1 brother, John R. Lannert (wife Carol) of Daytona, FL.; 2 sisters Mary E. Little (husband Richard) of Decatur, IL. and Anne F. Dean )husband John) of Marietta Georgia. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by 2 brothers Anthony & Fr. Maxim Lannert and 1 sister Margaret Elkins.
