Candace Sherwin

Candace Jane (Brunner) Sherwin, 61, of Romney, IN died at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, AZ Thursday March 12, 2015. Candace was born in Logansport, IN June 24, 1953, the daughter of the late Clarence W. and Ida Lucille Conn Brunner. She was a graduate of Purdue University, receiving degrees in both English and Nursing. Candace married Curtis L. Sherwin at Williams, IN December 26, 1981, and he survives. She was employed as a registered nurse in the OB department at the Bedford Medical Center in Bedford, IN and later did contract and private duty nursing, and was a member of the Reamer Club at Purdue University. Surviving with her husband is a daughter Cynthia S. Morrison (husband Mitch) of Phoenix, AZ and by four grandchildren, Sarah Jane, Isaac, Grant and Micah. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Brunner and by an aunt who raised her, Lulu A. Conn. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St. Lafayette from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM Monday, Rev. Jacob H. Hoffman officiating.
